Chapter 14 - Day Zero

The conflict roughly had lasted almost five hours. In such a short yet brutal showdown of the IMO agents against the organization scheming against the government the most, these so-called revolutionists were participating in the first battle of the new dark era pestering the globe after K.I.’s initial worldwide declaration, still idling by in secrecy. In the foundation for the Vault Raid, the K.I. would finally reveal their horrid head and shower an austere onslaught on their natural enemies since day one nine years ago; manipulating the IMO in revolting against the people who fought against War-rune superhumans since 2016, roughly one year after the formation of K.I. became central news.

This is what made this battle so significant, the fact that K.I. would now finally reveal themselves to the public eye, after hiding behind organizations such as IMO. The Vault would be the first to directly oppose K.I., and meet the first official member of the superhuman group in the world that already had absolute power over the new monarch/age, the Sins of Perdition.

To take matters on another scale of absurdity, the first revealed member of the Sins of Perdition, was Willy’s childhood friend. Willy would go up, face to face, mano to mano, against the man he called his best friend most of his life.

“Ready to die, my man Willy?” Dew said with an estranged smirk as he clenched his fists, a dark pulse radiating from his body. Willy glared with a death stare Dew’s way, his own light appearing to counteract Dew’s, giving them a well-defined space, within this specially crafted, spiritual space only they existed for the time being. “Ready to finish where we left off?”

“Hell yeah,” Willy kicked off his feet, wasting no time. His muscles bulged, veins popped in his eyes as he launched himself forward for his second attack, this time fully realizing his abilities, he went dead on, not underestimating Dew anymore than he knew he shouldn’t. This was it, their fight, only them.

---
The whole battlefield was littered in piles from what appeared to be a scrap yard. People laid around, injured, a fair share of casualties as well. As the island began breaking apart, the fractures in the ground began to surface, spreading throughout the island in what would appear to be an eventual downfall. It seemed IMO no longer cared about the initial plan of tipping the island, they wanted it destroyed, off of the map for good. The Subsido’s missiles began to launch forward. Jesse stood atop of the ice pillar within the ocean as he used for support. Resting only briefly after his battle with Rash, he understood the severity of the situation. He knew he didn’t have long, he had to act now. Vault was depending on him, what was left of it anyway. He glared down within the ocean, watching closely the ripples within.

Jesse leaped off of the pillar, hopping into the water. The water below him chilled below Jesse’s footsteps, creating a thin layer of freezing water beneath him to walk on, deep enough to walk. As Jesse created his ice path toward the ocean, he took notice of the ship only a few meters away from the main boundary of the island. His eyes widened with a fierce glare.

It was K.I.’s well endowed, worldwide known insignia. K.I… so they are behind this, after all? Or at least they are involved. To think they would show up like this.

By the time Jesse had noticed, a commander on the ship had taking awareness of Jesse as well. Before Jesse could even react, he heard the command ‘fire!’ across the platoon. The cannons raised and launched. Jesse groaned, diving within the water, taking cover from the cannonballs approaching.

Jesse believed it was safe to assume they knew what his objective was. Now that he was spotted, it would make this a lot less easier than he was hopefully intending.

“Jeez,” Jesse mumbled underneath his breath even underwater as he swam for the depths below. Jesse wasn’t awfully concerned with the arrival of K.I. at the moment; his only goal was to take out the Subsido any way possible.

Jesse glared back, as suddenly a large surge of seashells scurried among the water heading for Jesse in a cyclonic pattern. The shells split up, as Jesse noticed extruding razor-sharp knives lodged within the edges. Jesse received a light slash among his chest, only grazing him slightly. His blood began to leak and flood the water, creating an expanding clot of blood, dying the water red.

Jesse looked over at his two o’clock, noticing a blue tinted man dressed in what appeared to be a medieval-style light armor. His ears extruded outwards, resembling that of seashells, his red eyes boring through Jesse’s sapphire ones.

“As a member of the 1st squadron of IMO, Daz Shell, I am obligated to not allow you to proceed any further!” the sea-man said. Jesse simply stared forward with a nonchalant gaze, as if eyeing him with a ‘are you fucking kidding me?’ glare. The sea-man continued. “Being an elitist assassin from the sea, born and raised by the sharks alone, my skin is as layer thick as a whale’s, my limbs coated in sharkfin, and with my seashell shuriken I am able to-“

Before he could finish carrying on about useless shit Jesse couldn’t care less about, Jesse extended both of his arms sideways from his body. He clapped his hands together, creating a large ripple of freezing ice traveling through the water, freezing a large portion of the ocean, and in turn, Daz. Daz’s pose within the ice was a much undignified one. Jesse may have been on Daz’s turf, but being within a body of water which would easily freeze nearly made Jesse invincible.

Jesse took a turn down below, ignoring his previous skirmish and glaring down at the vessel below. Lodged deep within the water, Jesse set his sights on the Subsido, he found it. Jesse swam forward… as a beacon of light shone from below, traveling up through the water… another large missile was fired… directly headed for Jesse. It happened so fast, Jesse barely had time to react… he opened his mouth involuntarily, swallowing a great deal of water by accident. Already being at his limit, Jesse admittingly had the least stamina in Team Willy, using up everything he had against Colonel Rash. Jesse’s body floated up, the missile soared through the ocean… reaching Momodore island in a flash, it directly shattered the last layer of ice completely holding it intact. The remnants of the fallen ice shard scattered through the ocean, as the island’s balance suddenly just became a major concern.

---
Rubie’s arms crystallized into her ruby dense state, glistening in the setting sun, she raised up her arms, and charged forward recklessly, creating a scurry of zig-zagged afterimages after her wake. She charged Axill head on, who stared back at her with deranged, blood-carved eyes basking in the chaos and mayhem he was committing. He didn’t even seem to care about the mission… he was only ecstatic in killing off Vault. He was already pissing Rubie off, who went for a straight upward deck on his jaw. Axill side-stepped, curving his body sideways avoiding Rubie’s quick dash, as if reading her instantly. Rubie was surprised, at first, he was able to deter her movements so easily. Even Willy could barely keep up with Rubie’s speed. She didn’t think much of it now though.

Rubie flipped off of the ground, rolling up her body in a crystallized-like ball, her skin radiating off of the sun’s lights completely. Ten jumped forward with a nod, understanding Rubie’s short but concise gesture.

“Rocket Javelin Combo; Redhorn Rocket!” Ten called, propelling Rubie on Ten’s hand, whom launched his hand forward in the same style as his rocket punch, only now hurling Rubie with an intense loop. Axill gritted his teeth and widened his eyes, barely blocking Rubie’s blow with his giant metallic hand. Rubie used the added momentum, kicked off of Axill’s own metallic hand, flipped backwards in the air, where when Axill looked up, multiple afterimages of Rubie appeared in mid-air.

Redhorn Stampede!” Rubie launched herself downward, thrusting a substantial amount of kicks that each of her clones proposed at the exact same time, giving off the illusion that about five Rubie’s were launching downward in a frontal assault, with her kicks coming in all directions. Axill attempted to shield himself from the kicks buying into the illusion, as the actual Rubie leaped down with a stylish spin behind Axill. As Axill turned around, she leaped up, flipped several times again, connecting a twister-style kick upon his face.

Axill spun around once, and as he did, Ten appeared, his arm reconnecting, he opened a canister among his forearms, firing laser-like beams at point-blank range from his arms… or at least that was his intention. With a sudden twist of Axill’s arm, Axill watched amusingly as Ten’s own cannon backfired, shooting himself through the head. The laser struck through Ten’s head completely, luckily avoiding the major brain components built within. Rubie glared menacingly at Axill, charging forward, her ruby javelin formatted among her right arm, forming claws easily able to penetrate Axill were she to land her hit. Axill laughed with a demented smirk, and held up his left hand.

Ten’s body suddenly began floating off of the ground, and orbiting around Axill, attracted to his magnetic field. Ten’s body, being almost entirely mechanical, was completely subject to Axill’s magnetism force. Rubie didn’t stop her assault, aiming for Axill, he swiftly drew his hands forward in a slash-like wave, Ten’s body, uncontrollably by him anymore, propelled itself forward, clashing against Rubie’s attack. Rubie’s eyes widened horrifically as she punched Ten through his stomach with her mighty strength. Axill adjusted his black IMO cloak and continued to laugh, clearly having the time of his life. Rubie didn’t find this as amusing as he did, and was immediately pissed off.

“What a goddamn coward. Try fighting me with your own hands!” Rubie agitatedly declared. She wouldn’t show it outside by any means, but she was deeply affected emotionally what she had done to Ten. Ten simply stared on helplessly. Lucky for him, he was unable to feel any human emotion, fear included.

“This is my War-rune, magnetism! That walking contraption of scrapjunk you have with you as perfectly subject to my magnetic forces!” Axill smiled delightfully with a twisted lean, walking closer to Rubie, Ten continued to float in the air, only able to assess the situation from above. Axill extended out his hands in an invitation. “See, tiny hot-head, this android here, he has a lot of useful mechanisms built within his mechanical construct, yeah? They’re all mine now! If you just try to challenge me… I can end him just the same…”

Ten looked down, almost solemnly, down to Rubie. “Rubie, please, just do whatever it takes to finish these guys off. If that means sacrificing this body for the greater good of our rights, I will be more than willing to apply.”

Rubie kicked off of the ground, drop-kicking Axill against his chest boldly. Axill caught his fall with his giant mechanically constructed arm, glaring up at Rubie from the distance with a ‘oh no you didn’t just do that’ look. Rubie glared back with an equal scowl with an ‘I’m gonna kick your ass’ look, which both counteracted each other. Both gave off that rather demented, blood-thirsty vibe.

“I’ll remind Kaidoh to re-wire your brain wires or whatever when we get out of this hot mess,” Rubie said almost casually. “If you ever speak like that again, I’ll be the one to personally bash some sense into your head.” Rubie said in a matter-of-fact tone. Ten simply stared down, still in the air. “You’re not sacrificing anything!! We’re all alive and in this together! That’s what we, as not only Team Willy, but Vault, stand for!”

“As long as you’re still standing… you can live by those powerful morals, right?” Axill asked rhetorically with a devious grin and a twist of his head and left hand. Abruptly, Ten’s body began to disassemble by the joints, and began floating around Axill in an infinite loop. His head was the last to be disfigured, as Ten’s body pieces floated around Axill, he manipulated the magnetic field around his body effortlessly.

Rubie looked on in shock, her eyes widened, her mouth slightly gaped open, in a mixture of disbelief and pure ferocity. Her hands began to soften their grip from their clutches, and slowly, she moved forward, a demented scowl plastered among her face. Her sapphire eyes suddenly turned red, as her horns protruded in a more devil-like manner with a curved demented horn. She clenched her fists, growing nails which she involuntarily digged into her flesh, drawing blood that splashed among the ground in small speckles below the dirt. Seeing Ten in such a hypnotic, desperate state, being played around for a fool, she was beginning to lose her temper.

“Ahahaha! Well, that was way too easy! Now, for the grand finale!” Ten’s metallic body parts began to mold and shape itself onto Axill’s chest, as if building a type of metallic body armor around him.

Help me… Rubie

She heard his voice call, and that was the trigger. Her new sharp fangs obtruded from her mouth, as she darted forward in a large burst of speed, head-butting Axill against his head, her giant horns nearly impaling him through the head, but instead focused on blunt-force impact. Axill’s head, just like Kana’s earlier, busted open. Axill wouldn’t be easily faltered though. He stood up, as he lifted up his arm, glaring at Rubie with a new scowl, one that showed he was finally fed up.

“And that was the last straw! Don’t worry, you’ll be seeing your friends again, in the bellows of hell!” Axill laughed in a frenzied rage, as his right metallic arm began disassembling, as the many metal pieces of equipment he had conjured up along his journey to the island began to shiver and shake, and floated above.

Genocidal Outbreak!” and began raining many orbital, metallic weapons Rubie’s way, ranging from obscure swinging swords, gunshots with the bullets magnetized to Rubie’s general vicinity, every weapon he had conjured up to make the hand, from her own Vault comrades, rained down upon her and attempted to butcher, slash, and wound her in a homicidal raid.

Rubie glared up, and used her tremendous speed, agility, and dexterity, some of it seemingly newfound, to avoid the bullets, blades, and even bombs. As one bomb detonated upon her ruby surface, she was temporarily blinded. Axill’s giant hand reassembled, forming into that of a humongous axe. Axill slashed down, striking Rubie directly upon the shoulder, hard enough to crack her ruby armor, and even severely injure her, which, in her Ruby Mail, was not an easy task. The swords and bullets rained down upon her, now as if it was not only going in her general direction, but as if heatseeked and guided to her. Axill laughed as he leaped back, watching Rubie struggle against the metallic storm.

“What’s wrong, little cunt?! Is that a tear I see in your eye?! Sad about your robot buddy, yeah?!” Axill’s eye raised crazily as he watched Rubie struggle with ecstasy. Rubie growled, blowing steam from her mouth, she coughed up blood as a sword was instantly impaled through her back, followed by a gun-shot wound to her shoulder, rendering her right arm useless. Blood dripped down, as she found herself in a torment of pain. She was rarely ever injured, feeling the pain now was breathtaking, overwhelming, the feeling consumed her. She soon came to realize… she liked it. She basked in it.

Rubie glared up, licking the blood off of her mouth that was dripping fast, she growled up, her crimson eyes boring through Axill’s merciless eyes. Axill clenched his left hand, as his metallic limb converted once again into a giant hand. Axill launched it forward, attempting to grab Rubie. Rubie disappeared in an afterimage, jumped off of the hand, and leaped up for Axill.

“Are you really willing to punch through your robot friend in order to take me down?! You know what will happen, little demon!”

Rubie didn’t falter; instead, she simply clenched her fist, as she charged straightforward in a decisive blow.

“Your head… is wide open!!” Rubie head-butted Axill, once again, against the head. Axill’s face twisted in agony, as the blood began seeping from his busted forehead. Axill landed against the ground, as Rubie charged forward, layering her leg in a Ruby Javelin, she kicked Axill across the throat mercilessly, spilling his blood across the battle field, painting the ground a deathly scarlet canvas, her body not only drenched in his blood she spilled, but her own as well.

She wasn’t done with him yet, however, and apparently, he wasn’t even done. Axill launched several swords forward, which spiraled in an infinite loop. Rubie glared at him upright and charged forward.

Give Ten baaack!!

Rubie kicked off of the center sword’s hilt, spun horizontally, grabbed the other two swords (the other with her feet), stabbed the foot sword into the ground, leaped off of it stylishly with a flip, and downward-kicked Axill down his head, the impact causing a small shockwave upon the ground. The cracks and ruptures in the ground began to depart. She was clearly aiming for his head where Ten’s body remained unharmed.

Rubie fell against the ground, panting, the Ruby Mail exceeding her limits, her eyes turned back to normal, along with her horns, teeth, etc. As much as she wanted to beat the living hell out of Axill for what he did, she found it physically impossible at this point. She clutched her stomach, where she was stabbed, in pain, coughing up another montage of blood. All of the metallic weapons floating in the sky, along with Axill’s own generated giant hand, and his body of armor with Ten, fell to the ground. Ten’s head rolled along the ground next to Rubie’s feet. She looked down, reaching for his head, she shed a tear at what appeared to be an empty eye slot for Ten, no longer shining any life.

“Please… Ten… don’t go… it’s over now… he’s gone!” Rubie sniffled, a feeling of dread conquered her. Her body began to shake, no longer worried about the pain, only her friend laying there, lifeless, in front of her. “You’re not just an android… yo-you’re…” Rubie paused, clutching Ten’s head, she held it tightly against her chest. She felt his head, it was cold, surprisingly. Her own body was numbed, the tears swelled in her eyes. How could she let this happen, was all she thought about. An overwhelming sense of guilt plagued her. She finally let it all go.

TEEEEN!!!”

“Please Rubie, do not cry.” Ten’s robotic voice chimed in. Rubie looked on in disbelief, holding Ten’s head in her hands.

“Y-you’re okay…”

“I do not like to see you cry. Please, keep her head held high, and reveal that smile that can bring the world to its knees.”

Rubie smiled, wiping away her tears with her left arm.

---

One Hundred Fifty Percent!” Willy clenched his arms together, shooting himself toward Dew like a missile, while arching forward with a sideways lean as to strengthen the impact with his right shoulder to impact Dew head on. Dew grinned maliciously. Where Willy anticipated Dew attempting a dodge, he raised up his right open palm, as if reading to catch Willy like a pin top. Willy’s eyes widened, much too late to stop now. Was it a bluff or?

Dew briskly clenched his fist, his muscles began bulging as well. Dew gritted his teeth and glared with a clear intent on simply kicking Willy’s ass, an intent they both shared, however, Dew’s was far more lust for blood, an almost bizarre stance, he grinned madly.

Two Hundred Fifty Percent!!” Dew bellowed, his body instantly protruded, nearly twice the size of Willy’s. The collar of Dew’s K.I. robe snapped off, the simple button striking Willy in the face, nearly blinding him. As Willy could no longer stop his trajectory, Dew took advantage of his opportunity, and clocked Willy rigidly in his shoulder. A large, ominous crack echoed across the Vault HQ, even Trav felt it from his post. It was a similar feeling to Willy and Sid’s first brawl in the gym ‘twelve years ago.’ Willy’s face twisted in agony as he rolled across the ground, only to be stopped by a midair stomp by Dew, crushing Willy’s back. Willy coughed up blood and saliva as his body buried itself deeper into the tiles beneath the Vault HQ main floor. Dew laughed sinisterly as he effortlessly crushed Willy beneath his feet, clearly having him under his mercy. Willy’s body shook from the sudden collision, he opened his eyes, as he attempted to stand up, he found it to no avail…

Dew snatched up Willy, hurled him in the air by his shoulder (same one he cracked). Dew watched impatiently as Willy fell down from gravity’s griping clutches, completely helpless, as his own abilities were used against him.

Trav looked away, unable to register just what brutality Willy was going through. This was completely different from his and Sid’s rather even fight in the gym. Not only that, they shared the same Aura Release abilities, only clearly, Dew’s was on a larger scale, as he didn’t break a sweat going to two hundred percent, something Willy struggles with from fatigue. Unable to speak, his voice caught in his throat. He looked down.

Dammit… Willy… you son of a bitch… get your ass up!!

Drakebolt Sniper!!” Dew launched his fist forward, hammering Willy against his ribs. Willy attempted to shield himself, but knew his arms would be rendered useless if he did. He knew he couldn’t risk that, as Willy took the hit dead on, he coughed up blood, rolled against the ground wobbly, utterly defeated… Dew glared, tilting his head with a sinister, crazed expression. Trav closed his eyes shut as tight as he could, just praying this wasn’t really happening…

“Hahahaha! How do you like that shit?! Like those apples, homeskillet?! This is the difference between you and me! We’re worlds, no, dimensions apart, Willy!” Dew approached Willy, kneeling down, staring him down in the face with a twisted expression he always kept. Willy simply stared in protest, despite the pain, he wasn’t about to give in to this guy, showing him up so, he wasn’t about to have that.

Willy spat in his face, his own blood dripped upon Dew’s face as Willy grinned cockily, despite his position. “That all you got, homebiscuit? Barely even felt it…” This didn’t please Dew, at all. Dew head-butted Willy bluntly against his forehead, causing Willy to collapse even further into the ground. Dew kicked excess dirt and rubble inside only to mock Willy more. He cut his eyes over to Trav.

“See this man?! He’s the disgrace of the world!” Dew declared, which Trav wasn’t even trying to hear, for now. Dew smiled. “Wanna know something else?”

Trav glared up at Dew, clearly if he wasn’t bonded, and had the power to do so, he would be up and kicking Dew’s ass, his face alone suggested that. “This little shit-for-brains is the reason this world is going into Purgatory!”

Trav was silent for a minute, a nearly blank expression upon his face. He never even doubted he was wrong though, out of the question. “That’s a damn lie. You’re the ones who attacked us first!” Trav angrily retorted. “You’re with them! Those IMO bastards! Why are you doing this to us?!”

“Hahahaha! Look at this little shithead trying to talk about shit he clearly doesn’t know about,” Dew laughed, approaching Trav. Willy sat up, coughing up blood, glaring with a shaking anticipation. Even if his body failed him, he wasn’t about to give up this fight. The fact Dew turned away from him only made him feel more pissed off. The fact he was approaching Trav and talking down on him… that really was getting Willy riled up.

“This man you’ve befriended for so long, this Vault HQ you decided to call your home… don’t deny it, man, I know how you feel. He’s… good at doing this, you know,” Dew smirked. Trav lowered his head and glared up. Dew kneeled down, getting in Trav’s face. “Did you think that even for a minute this shitface cared about you? Hahaha! What a freakin’ loser you are. You’ve been played, Travis Reid.”

Trav’s eyes widened, his glare continued to intensify. “Trav, this guy never cared about you. Why do you think he injected you with the Kaizor Serum? Because he knew what trash you were, and wanted you gone! That’s how he really feels! But of course… he won’t tell you that.”

Willy’s eyes widened. “Dew!! Face me! I’m your opponent!” Willy stood up. Dew looked back with a raised brow.

“The Kaizor serum?” Trav said slowly, his eyes widened.

“Ah shit, I probably shouldn’t have said that! Now Willy’s really gonna kick my ass,” Dew said with a casual lean and a shrug of his shoulders with an ‘oh well’ deal, with a sarcastic edge. Willy glared up, and walked forward.

“Don’t start talking shit just yet, Dew. You’re always like this, clearly overestimating your own edge. We may have been the same experiments in the CPES Project, you may be physically more attuned than me, but… I’m still kicking and breathing,” Willy said, glaring upright at Dew. Dew laughed.

“With a shattered arm and crooked back, you’re not much now, are ya?”

“That’s not for you to decide,” Willy said blankly, his face set on an absolute resolve. This only amused and angered Dew at the same time.

“You should just drop dead, faggot!” Dew charged forward, his muscles bulged out once more, his veins in his arms and eyes popped out. “Three Hundred Percent!!!

Willy stood tall and firm, glaring up at Dew as he approached. He raised up his arms, clenched his fists, and built up his muscles as well. “Two Hundred Percent!!”

As Dew aimed for a straightforward, powerhouse punch to knock Willy’s lights out, Willy swept by Dew’s sudden punch, flipped forward, side-kicking Dew tornado style across his face. Dew’s cheeks distorted from the blow as he fell back, yet didn’t fall, only staggered. Willy approached with an impressive speed, kicking off of the ground, leaving very visible steaming marks on the ground. “White Lotus; Cyclone Wheel!” Willy flipped forward, propelling himself off of the ground with his hands, leaping up in midair completely upside down, as gravity pulled him down once more, he added a spin to his twist, extending his legs to the side, he pulverized Dew with a montage of spinning kicks traveling at an amazing velocity. Dew attempted to grab Willy’s legs in retaliation, but found himself too slow, he was nailed numerous times by Willy’s horizontal kick sweeps in merely a few seconds. As he was bruised and beaten, Willy fell down to the ground, kicked up, flipped once more, and launched himself forward at Dew. Dew glared and held out his hands in a stance…

Three Hundred Fifty Percent!!”
“Two Hundred Seventy Percent!!

They both shrieked a battle cry, as Willy pressed forward, all daringly, not thinking too logically at this point. Dew was much the same way, clearly relying on his brute strength and power to overwhelm Willy. As Willy approached with a frontal punch for Dew’s face to finish him off, both of their bodies dripped blood, and their hands clashed once more. Dew punched back, clashing fists, the whole HQ began to shake slightly from the shockwave of their impact. Even Trav not only seen it, he felt it. Compared to his first fight with Sidian, Trav was at a loss for words. He’d never seen anything this incredible, completely awestruck.

Dew overpowered Willy, going forward; he aimed his fist forward, punching Willy in the gut. Willy took the hit like a champ, yet still stumbled slightly, coughing up more blood, his whole face, along with his right eye from the head-butt earlier, were drenched in blood. Dew was only bruised, compared to Willy, he was looking unruffled.

Dew caught Willy mid-fall, and slammed him against the steel wall of the HQ, crashing down one of the support beams, the whole HQ began to tremble. Willy, wedged within the wall, only clenched his fist, and glared menacingly at Dew. He was already beginning to feel the side effects of going beyond two hundred percent Aura Released. His whole body began to ache… yet Dew stood there with a wide smirk, holding up his hand, ready to deal the final blow.

Willy closed his eyes… and remained calm… Trav looked on in horror.

“W-Willy! Get up, you dumbass! He’s going to… !!”

Willy reached up, grabbing Dew’s fist right before the collision. He gripped Dew’s fist tightly, looking up, his bangs soaked up in his face. Dew gnashed his teeth, letting out a dry groan with his throat. Willy began growling as well, pushing Dew back temporarily. Dew seemed shocked at Willy’s resolve, as he leaped out of the wall, he crouched down, his fist on the ground, glowering Dew’s way. His muscles began to contract as they tightened up, unable to hold out much longer. Going much farther above, he knew was a risky move, but Dew was easily overpowering him… what choice did he have.

Three Hundred…

Dew’s eyes widened, then lightened up when he assumed it was a bluff, as Willy suddenly stopped midway.

“Aha, you scared me for a moment there. Like a shithead like you could reach that hig-“

Percent!!” Willy’s muscles expanded once more, his shirt ripped open, revealing his masculine pecks, most of them new. He kicked Dew across the face with a side-kick, resulting in Dew flipping and sliding along the HQ floor. Dew caught his fall along the wall, kicking off of it angrily, he glared at Willy with a death stare, the veins in his eyes began to pop, his left eye became bloodshot. Willy landed smoothly on the ground, clenching his fists, fighting the pain of his new power.

“Looks like I popped a blood vessel,” Willy said in a calm taunt, which agitated Dew. Willy knew Dew more than most people, even Sidian. One thing Dew couldn’t stand, was not only losing like Willman, but being played for a fool. In those ways, he was actually a lot like Willman. But the thing that really set them apart… Dew was extremely hot tempered. That would begin to show.

Aaaahhhh!” Dew clenched his fists, charging forward, taking Willy’s bait. Willy grinned. Dew began pounding on Willy from about every direction. Willy began outblitzing Dew, easily outmaneuvering him. Where Dew began leveling the very HQ foundation with his immense strength and power, Willy was able to evade his every blow. Willy leaped off of one of the support beams for the tower, kicked off stylishly, and flipped through the air while Dew had his back turned, nailing him with a swift kick to the back of his neck. Dew’s eyes shrunk and widened, as Willy’s new strength and speed began overwhelming him – well, his speed.

Dew began faltering on the ground, spinning around rapidly, he angrily looked on. “You want some of this, eh, Willy?! You really want to push my buttons?! Well, when you do, this shit happens!!” Dew ran for the support beam, as Willy’s eyes widened, instantly knowing what he was trying to do.

“Dammit!” Willy yelled as he realized it was too late. Dew clutched the entire beam from the foundation, holding the entire thing, towers high, with both hands. He threw it at Willy with a twirl, as the building began to collapse. Remnants of the building began piling on top of their battle. What Willy was really worried about through it all however, was Trav.

Willy leaped above the tower beam, dashing toward Trav in a mad speed boost. As he approached Trav, Dew’s figure hauntingly leaped from above, throwing a punch directly for Willy’s face. Willy somersaulted by, just passing by his immense power, as Dew punched through the ground, creating a small-medium sized crater around himself. Willy flipped forward, finally approaching Trav. Trav was apparently knocked out, most likely from the debris in the falling HQ. Willy grabbed Trav and jumped outside to safety, just before the HQ collapsed. Willy rolled along the ground with Trav. Willy looked up, noticing his hands were unusually wet. It was blood, but not his, Trav’s blood. He had been hit in the head by the falling remains of the building. Willy didn’t have time to ponder over it now, but Vault’s HQ building was completely demolished.

Willy stood up tall, looking among the rubble. There was no sign of any struggle within. But he seriously doubted that was the end for Dew. It would take a lot more than a collapsing three story tall building to do him in. How right he was.

Dew threw away the remaining debris, his body covered in blood and bruises. He glared ahead, panting lightly. Apparently the stress of his own Aura Release was getting the better of him as well. Dew didn’t care, he just widened his eyes, and charged forward for the final assault, nothing else plaguing his mind at all, only Willman.

“Don’t think you can win, Willman!! It’s over the moment I decided to enter this island!!” Dew stepped forward slowly, Willy simply stared with a petrifying gaze. “You were always one step ahead of me… but today, I’m crushing you, and I’m reigning number one! My abilities with the CPES are far superior to yours! I’m gonna grind you up and spit you out… my man Willy!

“You may be stronger than me… but your technique is awful,” Willy said with a casual smirk. “It takes a lot more than strength, Dew, if you ever want to defeat me. The result will be exactly the same…”

Willy narrowed his eyes, and charged head on back. Right now, his main priority, was putting a stop to Dew. This was it, the decisive moment in the battle, take it all or lose it all. Willy had to go all out.

Five… Hundred Percent!!” Dew’s muscles bulged up to unbelievable amounts, as he launched his fist down like a rocket ready to plummet through Willy.

Willy launched himself forward daringly. In a brave progress, he swiftly leaped by Dew’s oncoming hand, just phasing it by, he clenched his fists… and smiled.

“Good game, Dew.”

Dew’s eyes widened horrifically, yet angrily.

White Bullet!

Willy kicked back his hand, launching it forward in a quick dash. His hand never touched Dew, yet a large, impacted force nailed Dew in the face. The force of Willy’s strike apparently sent a small physical wave of invisible energy, sort of like a blunt force bullet. Dew took the attack head on, his body sprawled back, his eyes widened, and suddenly his pupils were gone. He coughed up blood, as he landed against the ground, sprawled in defeat.

Willy began panting, his muscles contracted back to normal. He clutched his chest in pain, feeling his rapid, slightly irregular heartbeat. He sat on the ground and began panting noisily, as if he couldn’t catch his breath at all. He looked down at Trav, picked up up, sprawling him over his shoulders. His breathing was a problem he felt would have to wait.

Suddenly, the island began to shift and spin along the water. The quake was intense; Willy was caught off balance by being caught off guard. Willy’s eyes widened as he looked on to the horizon. The sun had almost completely set, night fall was among the island. However, the island might not survive long enough through the night.

“Willman…” a monotone, nonchalant voice called from Willy’s west. Willy looked over.

“Yuki…!” Willy stood up, yet grabbed his chest in pain. Yuki stared on, boring through Willy’s eyes with her usual gaze.

“Gather your team here. I will escort you off of the island.”

Willy’s eyes widened. “What are you talking about? We can still win this.” Willy’s never-give-up attitude was apparent once more. Yuki simply nodded sadly.

“No. Not this time, Willy.” She paused. He looked on. “The Vault island is sinking, and we cannot stop it.”

Silence, temporarily.

“You guys can still be saved. You guys have to live.”

Willy stood up. “I’m not giving up on this island…!”

Yuki shook her head and gazed down.

“Willy, Sabre has been defeated.”

Willy, once again, was shot dead down.

“As well as Kaidoh… and Ten…”

Willy’s body began trembling. He clenched his teeth, and punched the ground, which took just about all of the strength he had left. Willy began trembling, as he glared up ahead across the horizon. He slowly dispatched his pager, and clicked the big red button to talk.

“Everyone… Team Willy… if you can hear this message… head for the docks.”
